EBay is launching its Endless Runway event, a global circular fashion initiative, for the second year in September, according to a Thursday press release.
The event will feature pre-loved items, including archival runway pieces, from various collections included with the designers’ spring-summer 2026 collections.
New partnerships this year include designers Erdem, Luar, Altuzarra, Kallmeyer and Ahluwalia. EBay said these partnerships represent the world’s fashion capitals of New York, London, Milan and Paris.
“Each runway look will make a bold statement about the power of pre-loved and the relevance of circularity on fashion’s biggest stage,” the company said in the release.
EBay will host its own pre-loved runway shows with a real time shopping component via eBay Live during New York Fashion Week and London Fashion Week.
EBay’s Endless Runway program “reflects the permanent shift in how people shop,” the company said, citing growth in consumer interest in resale.
“EBay is where vintage finds, pre-loved pieces, and emerging designer fashion converge — offering the most dynamic selection, for the most diverse fashion marketplace in the world,” Alexis Hoopes, vice president of global fashion at eBay, said in the release.
Last year, nearly 40% of all clothing, shoes and accessories sold on eBay were pre-owned, per the release. The word “vintage” was searched more than 1,200 times a minute, with close to 2.4 billion listings across the marketplace.
The event is produced in collaboration with the Council of Fashion Designers of America, British Fashion Council and Fédération de la Mode Circulaire.
The eBay Endless Runway shows will take place Sept. 10 in New York and Sept. 18 in London.
